- Where do I start?
What we like to recommend is you start with current or a specific project (vacation, school years, etc.) If you try to start from the beginning of time and work current you may get overwhelmed and give up. Start current and work on some older things as time permits.
- What do I need to get started?
What you need/want to get started depends on your budget. You will definitely need a good pair of scissors, a archival safe journaling pen (usually black to start with, add colors later), and acid free adhesive. A scrapbook is also needed at some point. You just need to decide what size you want (6x6, 8x8, 8 1/2 x 11, and 12x12 are most common sizes.) If your budget permits, we also strongly recommend a 12x12 paper trimmer for trimming paper, cropping photos and more. You may also want some stickers and decorative papers to use.
- Are there classes I can take?
Yes, we offer a variety of classes you may sign up for a small fee. Check out the class section for more info on upcoming classes.
- Can we crop at your tables?
Yes, you can crop at our tables any time for no charge, as long as no class is sceduled at that time. Every Friday night from 5pm-midnight we host a Midnight Crop for a fee of $5.
- What is the difference between a class and a crop?
Classes are instructional and you will leave with the completed project. A crop is non-instructional and is simply an opportunity to get together with others that share the scrapbooking hobby. |
