CCU is Going Green! We know there are a lot of red plastic
CCU bags out there and we appreciate your continued business, so CCU wants to
give back and with your help, help to save the environment. Beginning
June 1, 2008, we will offer $.05 deduction at the cash register with every
purchase if you bring your old CCU
plastic bag with you to place your purchase in. We also will continue to sell our zipper bags
that you may purchase and bring with you each time you shop with us. We will also have a container at the front
door to recycle all of your old plastic bags – please feel free to bring any
from home. Let’s do our part to
HELP! Every little bit will help. We are also working with our vendors to get
more papers and embellishments that are made of recycled materials.
Every second Saturday of the month will be a FREE make
and take from 10am-12pm. Each month you will make a 6x6
layout of the season and at the end of the year you will have a free
set of 6x6 pages to place in an album. This is a free event and
is on a first come, first served basis to first 24 customers, or end of
event. Extra kits will be sold for $2 each.
